Born in 1969 in Hanoi, Vietnam

After graduating from Hanoi University of Fine Arts in 1995, he has been working as a freelance artist especially on paintings and installation. His paintings are on traditional material ("do" paper), but he is better known for his installation of living fossils. Via those living fossils, he preserves Hanoi heritage. His first 80 pieces installation at L'Espace in 2007 provided audiences an opportunity to pay homage to Hanoi old town of 36 streets. That was just a beginning of his huge project: saving all Hanoi beauty and heritage in living fossils. The installation seized the Second Place Award in Hanoi Exhibition in 2008, and has been exhibited in many places and countries.

In 2002, his installation "Dat va nuoc" (Soil and Water) appeared in National Exhibition of Sculpture and was awarded by the Swedish Fund Prize.

Now, he is working on living fossils of the Long Bien Bridge, a symbol of Hanoi. It will be presented to public in 2009.
